Note: A card's 'rank' refers to its numerical or face value, when ordered 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, J, Q, K, A.

Spoons
Setup
  1. Place one spoon in the centre per player, less one.
  2. Make a deck out of four cards of the same rank per player.
  3. Deal cards evenly between players.
Rules
  1. All players pass one card to their left at the same time. Repeat until a spoon is taken.
  2. If a player has four cards of the same rank in their hand, they may take one spoon.
  3. Once a spoon has been taken, any other players may take one spoon.
  4. The player that misses out on taking a spoon receives one piggy point.
  5. If a player receives three piggy points, they become a hog and may no longer take any spoons. One spoon is then removed from the game.
  6. If a player acknowledges the existence of a hog in any way, they receive a piggy point.
  7. Shuffle and repeat until only one non-hog player remains. They win.
Indian Poker
Setup
  1. Make a deck out of all standard cards.
  2. Deal two cards to each player.
  3. Without looking at their own cards, players hold them to their forehead so everyone else can see them.
Rules
  1. The dealer counts down 'three, two, one, INDIAN!', at which point players who want to drop out may drop their cards.
  2. The best poker hand wins.
Arsehole
Setup
  1. Make a deck out of all standard cards.
  2. Deal roughly even hands to all players.
Rules
  1. Players take turns to play one or more cards of the same rank face up. The rank or number of played cards must be greater than the previous play.
  2. Players may choose to pass their turn, and must pass if they cannot play any cards.
  3. If all players pass and the turn returns to the player that made the play, the play is reset.
  4. The last player with cards in their hand loses the game and becomes the arsehole.
Bullshit
Setup
  1. Make a deck out of all standard cards.
  2. Deal roughly even hands to all players.
Rules
  1. Players take turns to discard one or more cards face down to the discard pile. They declare the correct number of discarded cards, and any rank that is above or below the previous declared rank.
  2. If any player suspects the discarded cards do not match the declaration, they may call bullshit.
  3. If a player calls bullshit correctly, the discarding player adds the entire discard pile to their hand.
  4. If a player calls bullshit incorrectly, the calling player adds the entire discard pile to their hand.
  5. The first player to discard their entire hands wins.
Crazy Eights
Setup
  1. Make a deck out of all standard cards.
  2. Deal five cards to each players.
  3. Place undealt cards face down as a draw pile.
  4. Flip top card face up beside the draw pile to begin the discard pile.
Rules
  1. Players take turns to discard one card to the discard pile. If they cannot discard a valid card, they draw one card from the draw pile.
  2. No matter what the top card is, players can discard an eight. If they do so they must declare any suit.
  3. If the top card is an eight, players can discard any card that matches the suit declared when the eight was discarded.
  4. If the top card is not an eight, players can discard any card that matches the rank or suit of the top card.
  5. The first player to discard their entire hands wins.
